Welcome to W J Conservation, a family-run heritage and conservation company specialising in protecting and restoring the built environment. Founded in June 2022 by Richard Jordan,

W J Conservation encapsulates three generations of expertise within the built heritage industry. Our passion for preserving our architectural history is at the heart of everything we do. W J Conservation offers a comprehensive suite of services, including but not limited to carpentry, stonework, brickwork, roof slating and tiling.

In addition, we provide training and consultancy services and serve as a reliable materials supplier for heritage projects. We operate across the UK, working on projects of varying scales and complexities. No matter the project, our motivation remains the same – a deep-rooted passion for conserving and protecting the integrity of our country’s architectural history.

We are proud to have worked alongside renowned organisations such as Historic England, CADW, Historic Environment Scotland, The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB), and West Dean College. Our collaborations have allowed us to contribute to meaningful projects on some of the oldest and arguably most important buildings in the UK.
